Healthy Eating: A Structured Approach To Weight Loss

Weight gain resulting in overweight and obesity is on the increase with approximately two



thirds of the population being overweight or obese.

 


Having a healthy balanced diet can help us to maintain a healthy weight which will not only help reduce the risk of physical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke, cancer and osteoporosis but also improve our general well being and self esteem.


We all may have different reasons of why we want to lose some weight,
these may include:

• To have more energy, feel fitter and feel less out of breath
