Training Diary
The most important thing is to get out there and run. Whilst this first step is important the real secret to getting fit and keeping fit is consistency. Running needs to become a habit, only then will you improve.
You will have good days and bad days but it is vital, for you, to find out what works and what does not work for you.
For example: • The best time of the day to train • The right type of food to eat before and after a run • Optimum amount of sleep • Fitting your training into all your other work and family commitments • Your actual training programme.
The best way to discover these is to keep a diary and write everything down.
