The Easiest Way to Go About Fundraising
By far the easiest way to raise money for your favourite charity is to join a specialist Fundraising site.

The most well known is Just Giving which was launched in 1993.
Here's how it works:
Choose a charity, write a message, add a photo and your page is done.
Share your page with your friends by email, on Facebook or wherever you like. They can donate by credit or debit card, or through PayPal.

A long-term commitment to raising more money for charity When Virgin announced a new sponsorship agreement with the London Marathon starting in April 2010, they made a commitment to help runners raise a quarter of a billion pounds for charity over 5 years. Virgin Money Giving is going to play a key part in achieving this, making it easier than ever for fundraisers to raise even more sponsorship money.
But Virgin Money Giving is not just for marathon runners – they want to help all fundraisers raise more money, whatever event they take part in.
To do this, they will be charging charities the minimum fee to cover their administration costs only. And because they're not-for-profit, any extra money they do make will be pumped back into charities through future fee reductions or improvements to their service.
A better deal for charities They want to offer all charities a fair, transparent fee structure, so they’ll only charge a single start-up fee of £100 plus VAT, and a fee of 2% of donations in order to cover our costs. Unlike other fundraising sites, we won't make any charge on the Gift Aid reclaimed from the Government. It will be reclaimed and passed to the charities in full.
