Isle of Wight Half Marathon

The venue, Sandown and Shanklin Rugby Club, is situated off The Fairway, Lake, (just across the road from Sandown High School). Grid reference SZ 591844.

Concessionary rate travel on Ferries is being offered by Wightlink details will be provided on entry.

Medals will be awarded to all finishers.

It is an undulating single lap course taking in Yaverland, Whitecliff, Bembridge, St. Helens and back to Sandown via Brading.

Marker boards at each mile. There are drinks stations at approximately 3½, 7¼ and 10¼ miles with sponge stations at 6 and 8½ miles.

Roseland Triathlon

We aim to make this a challenging but safe event for all involved. We will start with an open water swim from Tatum's beach, Portscatho, to Porthcurnick beach

Here you will then cycle to St.Anthony headland, the route will take you down into St.Mawes and out past the castle, you can see the St.Anthony Lighthouse from there which is where your headed next At St. Anthony you will then leave your bike and run along the coastal footpath to the finish back in Portscatho

Dunsfold Duathlon & 10k

Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh, Nr Guildford This new duathlon was highly successful in 2009 with all 200 places taken up - for 2010 we have increased the size of the event and added a pairs duathlon with one runner and one cycist per team as well as the standard duathlon event.

The run will take in half the circuit returning down the main runway to the change over after 4.5km, the bike circuit is 3 complete laps of the 5km circuit and then change for a second run lap of 4.5k.

The event will take place at 2.30pm and will be followed by the Dunsfold 10km at 6pm on the same quick traffic free circuit.

Start time: 2.30pm Minimum age: 15yrs Medals to all finishers Prizes: First 3 male & female, first 35, 40, 50, 60+

The 2010 Sportingbet Guernsey Marathon, Relay and Wheelchair Races will be held on Sunday 29th August 2010. The start and finish will be at Footes Lane Stadium. The Wheelchair Race will start at 8.30 am, the Marathon at 9.00 am and the Relay Race at 9.30 am.

Miles of uninterupted sea views to take in, it's going to be a fantastic August Bank Holiday weekend celebration of running.
